PRINCIPAL
Stewart Walker has been engaged in the practice of insurance and financial services law for over thirty years, with over eighteen years in the private practice of insurance law. He has represented dozens of insurance companies and other insurance entities, including some of the largest insurers, administrators, agents and other entities in a wide range of transactional, regulatory, compliance and disciplinary matters. Mr. Walker has given many presentations on a variety of insurance, securities, and pension law and other matters to attorneys and others in the financial services industries. A graduate of the University of Nebraska and the University of Nebraska College of Law, he was the Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review. He is a member of the Federation of Regulatory Counsel, the Association of Life Insurance Counsel and the New York City Bar Association, where he was a member of the Insurance Law Committee.  Admitted to practice in New York, he resides with his family in Chappaqua, New York.  He is also a founder and Principal of Altamas Partners, a management consulting firm providing governmental relations, compliance and regulatory consulting services and focusing on Latin America.
