The New Jersey Department of Insurance has issued/updated the following Bulletins:

Bulletin 20-09 - No Action Position Regarding Potential Disruptions Due to COVID-19
Issues guidance to all licensed New Jersey Real Estate Licensees, School Directors, Instructors, and Other Interested Parties

Bulletin 20-08 - Temporary External Appeal Application Procedures for the Independent Health Care Appeals Program
Issues guidance to all health insurance companies, medical service corporations, hospital service corporations, health maintenance organizations, organized delivery systems, and other entities that issue final adverse benefit determinations in this State (collectively “carriers”), as well as health care providers, covered persons, and other interested parties, regarding temporary procedures for the filing of External Appeal Applications for the Independent Health Care Appeals Program, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:2S-11, N.J.A.C. 11:24-8.7, and N.J.A.C. 11:24A-3.6

Bulletin 20-07 - Use of Telemedicine and Telehealth to Respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic
Issues guidance to all health insurance companies, health maintenance organizations, health service corporations and other entities issuing health benefits plans in this State (collectively “carriers”) regarding the use of telemedicine and telehealth to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic

Bulletin 20-06 - No Action Position Regarding Temporarily Working from Home due to COVID-19
Issues guidance and informs mortgage lenders and certain regulated entities of no-action position regarding temporarily working from home due to COVID-19; Requires certain actions

Bulletin 20-05 - COVID-19 Matters
Notifies regulated banking entities to provide prompt notice of changes to branch operating hours; inform regulated entities of requirement to submit notices, inquiries, correspondence, and applications electronically, effective immediately and until further notice

Bulletin 20-04 - Disruption Resulting from COVID-19
Encourages entities regulated by the department to work with and assist customers who have been adversely affected by COVID-19-related issues

Bulletin 20-03 - Response to COVID-19
Requires health carriers to waive cost-sharing for medically necessary screening and testing for COVID-19
